Hi, our users can’t see the “advanced” option. Is there a specific permission level that a user needs to edit permissions on a document. At the moment they have “Contribute
When you click the first … it will open a preview of the doc. In the tray, there is another set of … dots. Click on those and you will see the Advanced options which will open the permissions for the document. Kind of like finding the start menu in Windows 8. Thanks to Aanu for posting this to lead me in the right direction.
In SP2010 this would set Limited Access permissions on the Library & Parent site. Doesn’t seem to be the case anymore in SP2013 ?
